Ed, Jess, Garrett and Family,

There were many times Nancy came to my aid. One was the night of the '77 Flood. She walked from Ferndale to Franklin to find me. Nancy stayed for several months to help in the devestaion.

I will always see her in her favorite poise and barefoot. How I will always see her is a woman with a reverence
for others.

Lovingly,

Cousin Pam

Dearest Jess and family,

My fondest memories of you are tied to the times spent at your home when we were kids. Your mom played a very big role in that. I will always remember her being so young-spirited and funny. I always loved sleeping over at your house back then. May our God comfort you now and always as you endure her passing.

I remember helping Aunt Nancy when we were moving our Aunt Betty from her home. I was just pregnant with my first child and only my parents and husband knew. Nancy had me doing the dumbest things that day. Rolling up rugs, sitting and sorting through things, not lifting or doing anything physical. She worked so hard all day while I did next to nothing. Finally, at the end of the day she let me know that she knew I was expecting. We had that little secret together and she was thrilled. We sat and whispered like children with our knowledge that we knew something nobody else did. I was thinking about this last night, how nice it was that she took care of me that day. How excited she was about it and that she was included.

Aunt Nancy will be sadly missed. I know that she has finally found peace. I can only pray that the rest of her family can soon find peace and comfort of their own. Take your fondest memory and hold on to it. Let it heal and comfort you. Smile when you think of her. She wouldn't want to see you hurting. Love to all of you.
