Nancy Walker Obituary
Private services will be held for Nancy Walker, 74, of Mentor.
Mrs. Walker passed away May 2, 2014, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born April 20, 1940, in McMinnville, Tenn., she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 70 years.
She loved her family, flowers and bus driver friends.
Mrs. Walker had worked as a bus driver for the Mentor School System for 25 years, before her retirement.
She was the beloved wife of Robert Lee Walker; loving mother of Robert Walker of Mentor, Bryan Walker of Mentor and Wendy Jones of Foley, Ala.; cherished grandmother of Gerald Spradlin Jr. of Painesville, Justin Walker, Randy Casstevens of Painesville, Rick Walker of Willoughby, Brandon Walker of Eastlake, Jeremy Walker of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Cory Walker of Willoughby, Sierra Spradlin of Painesville, Morgan Jenkins of Foley, Ala., and Stella Walker of Mentor; great-grandmother of Aedyn Walker of Eastlake; and sister of James Lawson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Ollie Lawson; daughter, Tami Spradlin; brother, Thomas Lawson; and in-laws, Ermon and Pauline Walker.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her name be made to the Seidman Cancer Center, Mentor Campus, 9485 Mentor Ave., Suite 3, Mentor, OH 44060.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.

I can't believe it's almost been a year already... Doesn't feel like a year. Well this past year has been a nightmare without you and I wish I had more time to spend with you. My one regret is that I never told you how much you mean to me. You mean the world to me and i really just wanted you to know how much I love, miss, and care about you. Things aren't the same anymore. I love and miss you so much grandma.
