Narvel Trenton Leonard BRISTOL, Tenn. Narvel Trenton Leonard, age 86, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at his residence. He was born July 12, 1925, in Mendota, Va. a son of Arthur and Martha Leonard. Narvel was preceded in death by his great-great grandson, Holden Matthew Folkner and a brother, Albert Lester Leonard. He was a retired truck driver for Super Service and was a member of Bethel View Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Eva Vance Leonard. Also surviving, sons, Tim Leonard and wife, Jackie and Gary Leonard; grandchildren, Julie and Mickey Mosberg, John and Ashley Leonard, Angie and Daniel Mills, Michael Leonard, Kristy and Eric Leonard and Kimberly Wykle; sisters, Thelma Lee Woods, Juanita Hicks and husband, Wayne, Madge Garland and husband, Johnny and Eva Ketron; great-grandchildren, Corinne Leonard, Sarah Campbell, Tyler Booher, Alex Leonard, Nathaniel Leonard, Isabella Leonard, Tiara Price, Trenton Wykle, Brianna Burker, Owen Mills, Laike Mills, Kinley Leonard and Kole Leonard; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Travis Chapman and the Rev. Johnny Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Crawford, Steven Sweeney, Jim Bolling, Aaron Bolling, Ward Seats, Dewey Allison, Paul Hess, and Ernie Chapman. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Phipps, James Noe, and Bill Simons. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Jason Moore and very special neighbors. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Gary and Timmy,

I was very saddened to have read of Narvel's passing. I will always remember him and the tea he loved, the Friday nights going to the auctions to sell bicycles and all the memories. He will be be missed.
