To All,

Thank you for your kind words, prayers and thoughts during this very difficult time. Nasser was a wonderful person who enjoyed family and friends. There is not a day that passes that I do not think of Nasser and the happy times we enjoyed together.

Nasser was gentle and kind soul, very peaceful and fun to be around. Nasser loved to talk about politics and debate the topic of the day. Nasser was 100 % Palestinian and loved his people and his culture.

I remember once Nasser and I were visiting Jerusalem, where I was in the market for an ood (Palestinian Guitar). As I and the store owner were haggling over the price, the store owner said "marhababkum" take the ood for free. Nasser, not missing a step picked it up and started walking out of the store with it. The frantic store owner said "hey, I was only kidding". Nasser and I laughed all the way back to El-Bireh.

May God give him a special place in Heaven, may God ease his family's pain and may we all remember that the angel of death visits everyone.

May Allah have mercy on Nasser and forgive him and raise his stature in heaven.May Allah bless Nasser's family and provide them with endless blessings and give them peace and comfort.

I miss you and will never forget you!

"The Lord works in mysterious ways" has never had more meaning then the day Allah(SWT) took Nasser away from us, may Allah forgive me, but it's hard to understand why Nasser was taken so soon. He is loved and needed by many. He was a good cousin, and a better friend to me and so many others, I will miss the energy and love that was such a natural part of him. To Feda, Neda, Ghadeer, & Kolood: Be thankful to have had such a great brother and may your memories of him give you comfort, I am so sorry for your great loss. To Khalti Im Nasser: I have never known a woman prouder of her children than you, take comfort and pride in the fact that you have raised a wonderful son and a great person and be thankful for the wonderful grandchildren he gave you and ensure that the strong family values you taught him are carried on to them, may your strong belief give you strength and comfort. To Eyad, Nassrie, Majeed, & Ameera: please remember that your Daddie loved you so much and did everything he could for you, take care of each other and always know that my family and I are always here for you. To Nancy: I have always said that you and Nasser were made for each other, and that I have never seen a better suited couple. I am so sorry that your time together was so short, but remember that you have had more love and happiness in that short time than most wish for in a lifetime. I know that you will find the strength to carry on and to take care of your children and yourself, We will always be there for you.
My deepest condolences to Nasser's family and friends everywhere.

Nasser was a man respected by many. I only wish his time with us was longer. He touched the hearts of so many of us. Nasser, I was only getting to know you better and I'm deeply saddened that our time was cut short. To Nancy I say this. Our friendship has always been one of support and encouragement. You and the kids will always be dear to me and I will always be here for you. I extend my deepest sympathy and love to the entire family.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about Nasser's passing. We wish there was more we could do to ease your pain. Anyone that knew Nasser would tell you that he was a gentle and loving father and husband and although we are saddened that we could not have spent more time with him, we are comforted in knowing that our kids will grow up together.

I don't know where to begin to tell how wonderful a man Nasser was. He was not just my brother-in-law, he was my cousin and a great one he was! Everyone knew what a family man he was, family was the most important thing in his life. His life ended too soon, he had so much a head of him. Nasser and my sister had just finally got to the point in their life where they were ready to enjoy each other a little more because their children were older and they could actually start to vacation alone and do all the things couples generally do when the first get married, but Nasser loved kids so much that they started their family early. It was like he knew that what his future had in store for him, so they had their kids right after each other early on. They were so excited that they were done having kids and they were ready to watch me go through it all while they sat back and laughed! Nasser never got the chance to meet my daughter but I know he is watching down at her and thinking all those times he yelled at me to drink milk while I was pregnant actually paid off! :) Nasser, I love you and always know Nancy and your beautiful children will ALWAYS be taken care of. Your legacy will forever live on!

Nasser, I don't know where to start. You were more than just my cousin, you were my brother, my father.I had the pleasure of living with you for 4 years. Within those 4 years you gave out more love than most due in an entire life time. The memories I have with you are priceless. From your smile, laugh, sarcasm and most importantly, your love of your wife and children. I will NEVER meet another father who will say "I love you" to their kids as much as you did. All you ever wanted was to be with your kids every waking hour; and you still are because I know you are looking down smiling at them. Your legacy will go on through your kids and Nancy and I promise you I will give my all to them. We will never let those kids forget that their dad is the best dad that anyone could wish for and that you gave them your all. Just as you were an amazing father, you were an amazing husband to Nancy. I am so thankful Mohammad had the chance to meet you, now he understands why I miss you so damn much. You meant so much to me and I will never forget how much of yourself you gave to me and everyone else whose lives you touched. I would give anything to bring you back because I just can't imagine a life without you in it, but I can't be selfish because I know you are in a better place looking down on all of us. I have to stop writing because I love you so much that I could write about you all night. Thank you for everthing you have given me, you have truely made me a better person. Again, don't worry about Nancy, Eyad, Nasrie, Majid, and Ameera, they will be my number one priority, that is the least I could do just to attempt to repay you for all you have given me. I love you so much... I will see you when I get there. Love Always Enas

Nasser was my cousin and a dear friend. His passing touched me so much that when I began to write on the Guest Book, I realized I had so much more to say about him and the man he was than could fit in a short paragraph. I realized what I was writing was more like a story. So I thought that I would share my feelings and memories on a blog "In the Memory of Nasser Rasoul" that anyone who was interested in could read and contribute to. If you would like to read or contribute to this blog please go to:

I believe that this blog may be a place where we can cry and laugh while remembering the joy that Nasser brought to so many of our lives. We can celebrate Nasser's life and keep his memory/legacy alive.

Nasser Rasoul was such a special man....he was a like a brother to me, an amazing father to his children, a wonderful husband to Nancy, a great friend and even a father figure to many. The evidence of his love of family and life will continue to surrounds us all....through the smiles of his beautiful children. His passing has brought together a home which is filled with people whose lives he touched. He is so loved and will be dearly missed. This is a deep felt loss for all those who knew him. Although we have all shed many tears of sadness...there is solace in knowing that Nasser is in a better place, he is at peace, and he will be watching over his lovely family from Heaven. We have all also shared smiles remembering the good times and celebrating Nasser’s life - he was always smiling and joking - that is what he would want us to do…let his legacy live on through the memories we all carry with us and bring our families closer together so we can continue to share those stories with each other and his children.

Nasser was a wonderful cousin who always encouraged our children to gather together and support each other. He knew the importance of family and friends, and I'm sure Eyad, Nasrie, Majid, and Ameera will continue to carry on their father's strong values especially that of friendship. He truly enjoyed every minute he spent with his children and their friends and he made sure they knew how happy he was to be with them. He made sure that not one child went unnoticed. Rasoul family,
I am very saddened to hear of Nasser's passing. Dr. Murcko and I first discovered Nasser's heart condition when he came into our office several years ago one Thursday evening for a stress echo, I'll never forget it. I always told Nasser the size of his heart was the largest I had ever seen, but it was a very kind and gentle heart. I will miss him.
