NATALIE SPILLER Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 13, 2017.
Natalie V. (Hildreth) Spiller finally reunited with her beloved Eddie on Tuesday December 12. You can be sure Nat and Eddie are harmonizing to Mitch Miller somewhere while dancing with the much loved sister and brothers that paved the way for them. Nat was born in Lewiston, the fourth of six children, to Winfield Hildreth and Mavis (Bradbury) Hildreth. She married Edward W. Spiller on June 23, 1951. Nat was mostly a stay at home mom to her four girls but loved her time as a volunteer at Merrill Hill School and working at Lovelett Nursing Home as the activities coordinator. One of Nana's greatest joys was helping raise Dakota and Mariah.

She is survived by her four heartbroken daughters Lisa (Dan) Carroll, Sandra Spiller, Karen Johnson, Robin (Steve) St. Jean, grandchildren Dakota and Mariah Carroll, Tracey Carter, Kelly Bublack, Rick, Tammy and Monique Johnson and Ryan and Melissa St. Jean. Nine great grandchildren, her brother Charlie (Nancy) Hildreth, sister Mildred Van Ham and sister-in-law Bessie Hildreth as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Ray Tardiff, Dr. Sarah Skelton and Amy and April from Androscoggin Hospice all of whom made it possible for Lisa to keep mom at home until the end.
Sandy, Karen and Robin would like to say a very public and heartfelt thank you to Lisa, our rock, big brother and angel. You kept wishing an angel would come to mom but we knew she had one all along. We can't express how grateful we are to you for your loving care of mom to the very end. We love you.

You are invited to offer condolences and pay tribute to Natalie's life by visiting her guest book at www.thefortingroupauburn.com. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday Dec. 17 at 4 PM at The Fortin Group/Auburn. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society 55 Strawberry Ave. Lewiston, ME 04240 or Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice 15 Strawberry Ave. Lewiston, Me 04240 http://www.ahch.org/Ways-to-Give.

Arrangements are under the care of the Fortin Group/Plummer & Merrill Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services 217 Turner St. Auburn 783-8545.
