Nathan PENTON Obituary
It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Nathan, surrounded by his loving family, on June 7, 2018 at 20 years of age. Cherished son of Mark Penton (Dana Butler), and Angela Penton (Girard Stevanka Jr.). Admired stepbrother of Cole and Riley Butler, and Alexis and Jonathan Stevanka. Adored grandson of Armeline and the late Alonzo Penton, and Gilles and Lucia Pinard. Step- grandson of Girard Sr. and Heather Stevanka, their daughter Heidi Bondy and family. Loving nephew of Arlene Lafleur (Mike), Owen Penton, and Pamela Pinard-Gough (Al). Dear cousin of Aaron (Amber), Gillian and Abigail. Nathan had a special bond with his canine companion and best buddy Gracie. He will be sadly missed by many extended family members, friends and fellow students. Nathan attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and was currently a student at Holy Name High School. We will forever be grateful to all those that have helped along his journey, especially Jennifer Burma, Jaime Martin and the many staff members and students whom have had a direct impact on his life. Nathan's smile was infectious and could light up a room. We have no doubt that his positive attitude and outlook on life has made us better people. If you so desire, donations to the John McGivney Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Monday at 4:30 p.m. at

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. My brother Bob spoke of him often, as one of the bravest and wonderful people he knew. It must be so hard to bury a child, I can only imagine. Please take some solace in knowing that many people loved your son, and that he will live on in the memories of so many people. Again, my heartfelt sympathies to you both and your family.(Bob McConnell's sister).
