NAVDEEP KANG Obituary
Of Sewickley, age 25, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Beloved son of Jasbir Singh Kang and Prabhjot Kaur; caring grandson of Harbans Singh Sidhu; loving nephew of Gursharan Singh and Surinder Kang, Harjit Singh and Kulwant Kang, Amarjot Singh and Gurmit Sidhu, Surinder Singh and Manju Mangat, Mrs. Balbir Nilvi, Mrs. Gurminder and Khush Sahasi, and Paramjit Kang; loving cousin of Cheena, Karan, Ritu, Jasdeep, Ajay, Jayesh, Gugna, Harbir, Leena, Rima, Cherry, and Peach. Navdeep was a graduate from Sewickley Academy 2007, George Washington University 2011, Magna cum Laude (B.S. in Biology, Minor in French), and Senior at George Washington University School of Medicine Batch of 2015. In Navdeep's spare time he enjoyed kite surfing, hiking, yoga, marathon running, and in high school he played Varsity Lacrosse. Navdeep was a very bright, empathic, compassionate, and willing to help anyone at anytime, anywhere. Liked by all who came into contact with him. Friends are welcome Saturday from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m., where a Memorial Service will be held at the Pittsburgh Sikh Temple (Gurdwara), 4407 McKenzie Drive, Monroeville, PA 15146.

We were all utterly shocked and devastated by the news of Navdeep's accident. We know all his friends and teachers from Sewickley Academy are heart-broken. It was always a pleasure seeing him at our home and watching him grow up alongside his friends. He will be sorely missed by all he touched. Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Navdeep was a friend of my son Stephen from Sewickley Academy. He visited my home as recently as a few weeks ago when we had such a nice conversation. He was one of the finest you men that I have ever had the privilege to know. My family shares in your sadness.
