Nellie Chisholm Obituary
She was predeceased by husband, Lawrence, and sister, Marius MacDonald. An avid sports fan, Nellie was interested in all sports and shared this interest with her husband for many years. She was a sharp card player and loved her bingo. Prior to being afflicted with MS Nellie was an athletic person who excelled in any sport she tried. Her quiet pride in her grandchildren was exemplified by the photos and stories she would share with everyone that stopped by to visit her in the Manor. A special thank you to the Inverary Manor staff for the endless care and support of Nellie which enriched her life immensely.
Visitation will be held in Inverness Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 24, from 7-9 p.m. Funereal mass will be June 25th at 11a.m. in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with Fr. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society or to Stella Maris Parish Cemetery Fund, Inverness.

Our sincere sympathies to all the family. Nellie and I were buddies when we worked at Henderson's and she made my first job a fun one. We shared a lot of laughs over the years. Lolly and Archie got along well too...great sense of humor there too. Nellie will be missed. My prayers go out to all of you, her wonderful family she was so proud of. God bless you all.
