I love and miss you Mawaw and Paw Paw. I was telling David the other day that my Maw Maw would make me Ashley and Dad the best chicken salad sandwiches to take fishing with us in the boat. And how you spoiled us girls taking us shopping alot and I'll never forget the look on Paw Paws face when ever we would walk in the house with all of our shopping bags. Lol Then Paw Paw would always ask us if he still had any money left. I love you two so much and miss y'all more than ever! Love your granddaughter Christy Gros.

You, the family, are in my thoughts and prayers. Take time in days to come to share with others the memories of this great woman. Mrs. Gros always had a smile for everyone and wanted to know the news of family and friends. My first memory of Mrs. Gros was in the mid 1970's. I was trying to beautify a yard that hadn't been cared for very well. I bought a few flower plants but Mrs Gros knew my budget was limited and she gave me 10 dwarf boxwood shrubs. She was very detailed as she gave me planting and care instructions. In the next few weeks I must have gone to the store a dozen times to ask questions, [Mr. Gros in the background shaking his head each time}. I finally had to tell Mrs. Gros that none of the shrubs had survived. She laughed and told me that didn't surprise her because she didn't think anything could ever grow in "that" yard. Yes, Mrs. Gros was a very special woman! She was loved by many and will be missed by many.
