Nellie Scarberry Moreschi Tobias passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She is survived by her sons, Daniel G. Moreschi and daughter in law Elaine Moreschi of Kingston Springs, TN and Carl J. Moreschi and wife Kathleen of Louisburg, NC. She also leaves behind her Grandchildren Melissa Moreschi Nelson (husband John), Vincent Moreschi, Nathan Moreschi (wife Allison), Anthony Moreschi (wife Natalee), and Jon Akhtar, and two Great Grandsons Michael Moreschi and Giovanni Moreschi, and two sisters Dorothy Zucco and Betty Sue Ferguson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husbands U.S. Army Staff Sargent George Moreschi and Dr. Joseph Tobias and 9 sisters and 2 brothers. Nellie was born in Eupora, Mississippi one of 13 children and moved to Massachusetts shortly after her marriage to George Moreschi. In 1987 she moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and remained until 2011. In 2011 she moved to Kingston Springs, TN to live with her son Daniel. Nellie spent 50 years as a talented interior decorator and professional seamstress. There will be a celebration of Nellie's life at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Raleigh, NC at 12 Noon Saturday September 14th. In Lieu of Flowers please make donations to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church or Hospice.
