Nelson Fielding

Nelson John Fielding WANTAGE - Nelson John Fielding, 56, died after a long illness at St. Clares Hospital, Sussex, on Friday, July 25, 2008. Born to the late John C. and Irma R. Fielding in Paterson, he lived in Fair Lawn for many years before moving to Wantage in 2003. Mr. Fielding worked as a laborer in the construction business and most recently was employed by Kenneth A. Wentink & Associates of Wantage. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, was an avid gardener and authored a book called the "Kitchen Quarterback Cookbook." Mr. Fielding is predeceased by a brother, Richard Fielding (1974), his mother, Irma R. Fielding (1977) and his father, John C. Fielding (1990). He is the dear brother of Elizabeth Fielding of Hamburg, Andrea Kirchuk of Washington and William Fielding of Wantage; and cherished by three nieces, a nephew and a grandniece. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at 11 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, Franklin. Burial was private. Arrangements are by F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin. Donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
