Nelson A. Talbot

Nelson A. Talbot died peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at EMH. Nelson was born on June 2, 1945, in Buffalo, NY, to proud parents, Asher and Mildred Talbot. His family moved to Elyria when he was a boy. Nelson graduated from Elyria High School and served his country in the United States Army and Army Reserves. Nelson worked his entire career in the Chevy plants of Elyria and Parma. He enjoyed music and had an extensive collection of vinyl records. His hobbies included painting and woodworking. Nelson was a cat person, he had 5 cats that gave him companioship and comfort. He took great enjoyment watching SCI-FI and will be buried in his Star Trek neck tie. Nelson was able to live most of his life in his family home and took good care of his parents and was the best friend of his only sister, Sandra Schatz. Although he never married he was a doting uncle to his nephew, James Schatz (Hilarie) and great-uncle to CJ and John. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sandra, and her husband James Schatz. Memorial contributions are suggested to Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035.
