Ken is survived by his daughter, Karen Spieler (Mark) and son Kenneth Kinnaird, Jr. of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Kathryn Spieler and Jacob Spieler, and nieces and nephew Judy McKenzie, Margery Crabtree, Sherry Bright, and James Kinnaird. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anne Wilson Kinnaird; his parents, Mary Viola Jane Kinnaird and John Quincy Alexander Kinnaird; and siblings Herbert Staley Kinnaird, Gilbert Dyer Kinnaird, and Mary Alice Dubell.

Ken was born in Cookeville, TN, and moved to Atlanta, GA, in 1945, where he met Anne. They married in 1951 and had 73 happy years of marriage, raising their family in Charlotte. Ken began his career with J.M. Tull Metals for 23 years in sales and was transferred to Albany, GA, in 1954 and to Charlotte in 1958. In 1970, he joined the Marmon Keystone Corporation, where he was Southeastern District Manager for 30 years. He was President of the Steel Service Center Institute for 2 years. Ken retired at the age of 70 after a much-loved, lucrative career. He was a member of Carmel Country Club for 30 years and High Meadows Country Club for 20 years, where he loved playing golf. He was a faithful member of Park Road Baptist Church since 1958 and served in many roles, including being awarded the title of Deacon Emeritus. In his spare time, he loved going on golf trips with Anne and their many friends and family. They traveled the world by van or plane.
