Kris, Nick and Shell your dad had such an amazing personality. In the 30 years I have known him I never saw or heard anything but smiles and laughs. As a kid, he was the dad out there playing basketball, riding 4 wheelers, bringing the kids to play pool or bowl and was the one who also taught us lessons of right and wrong. especially when he would drive me from Delray to Royal Palm. He gave me advise more than once ;) Nick and Joyce always invited us for holidays. I even got a B-day text (lol) and funday Sunday's by the pool where always a blast.
I learned a lot from him throughout the years, the most important lesson was that above all family is first!!! Caldwell Strong Life will not be the same without him. 3rd daughter- Reen

Dear Caldwell family. Big Nick was a great man. I am blessed to have called him my friend. He has left a huge void in his passing. May God protect his family as Nick did in his time on earth. It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. Prayers for your healing with time. Love you all..

The loss of a parent at any age is one of the most difficult things we go through but we didn't really lose them, they will forever be with us in our hearts. Take comfort in the memories, share them often and he will live forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I Pray that Sweet Memories of Nick will Sustain you and help you through the coming days. I am thinking of the first time I met Nick. We were in the 6th grade, at Summer Camp and about 12yrs old. He was Handsome and Charismatic. Bonnie and I both fell in Love with him. What a character, and so much fun to be around.
I am so very sorry to hear of Nicks passing. May the Lord bring you Peace and Comfort.
God Bless You . Dee Daliessio Lamplugh

It is so hard to understand why we lose the closest person in our lives too soon. I know this as well. The love of my life left at 53, but gave me the best 10 years of my life! Remember and cherish those moments and know you one day will be reunited with him, Joyce. My deepest prayers for you and your family. Judi Hamilton xoxo
