Nicholas Fedirko

FEDIRKO, Nicholas Jack "Nick" On Monday, April 24th, 2006 Nicholas "Nick" Fedirko of New Sarepta passed away at the age of 80 years. Nick will be lovingly remembered by his family Helen Fedirko, Leonard (Gillian), Audrey (Doug) Sloan, Donica (Russ) Towell, Glenn (Carmen), son-in-law Barry Montemurro. Nick will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren; Daniel, Cassandra, Jeff, Tiana, Tyler, long time friend Karen Oaks, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Nick was predeceased by his daughter Tannis Montemurro in 2005, and sister Joanne Flack. Nick was geologist and long time Principal (retired) of New Sarepta elementary school. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kelly Craig and staff of Station 51 at the Grey Nuns hospital for the loving care given to Nick. A Celebration of Nick's life will be held on Saturday, April 29th at 1:00 p.m., at the Connelly-McKinley Sherwood Park - Millwoods Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton (Must be heading south on Hwy 14 - access is 1 km south of the Sherwood Park Fwy on Hwy 14). Memorial Donations may be made in memory of Nick to the Children's Wish Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
