Nicholas A. Pellegrino

Nicholas A. Pellegrino, 80, of Cave Creek , Arizona, passed away peacefull on June 28, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born on August 16, 1942, in Bronx, NY, Nicholas was a larger than life personality who was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He had a legendary passion for cooking and opened his heart and kitchen to everyone.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Claire and their children Christine (Denise) of Purchase NY, Nicholas (Celeste) of Peoria, AZ and Joseph of Scottsdale, AZ. He was blessed with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Nicholas was a renowned chef and owner of restaurants in the Bronx, Rockland County, NY, and Scottsdale, AZ. Aside from his successful career, Nicholas had a multitude of hobbies. He was a true Mr. Fixit, capable of tackling any remodeling, plumbing, or electrical project that came his way. His favorite hobby was setting up the Christmas Villages, transforming their home into a winter wonderland. Nicholas also enjoyed playing racquetball and golf, always finding joy in staying active.

Memorial services for Nicholas A. Pellegrino will be held in Arizona and New York at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Arizona Humane Society in Phoenix, or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Your support will honor Nicholas's memory and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
