Nicholas Pizzuto Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 1, 2023.
Nicholas John "Nick" Pizzuto, of Newington, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Nick was born on November 27, 2001 to Michael and Janet (Leonard) Pizzuto of Newington, and was a 2020 graduate of Newington High. With his love of cars, Nick pursued a career in the automotive industry, graduating from the Lincoln Technical Institute in 2022 and becoming a mechanic at Central Connecticut Tire in Plainville.

For the short time we were blessed to have you, you filled our hearts with pride and joy and the grief we feel in losing you will never go away. Your beautiful spirit and smile will be with us, always.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Michael Pizzuto, III of Newington, his grandmother, Louise Leonard; his aunts and uncles – Diane and Wayne Goulart, Laura and Victor Nery, Caren and Tim Backus, Jay and Joy Pizzuto and Mike and Dixie Prouty, his cousins and friends; girlfriend, Danielle Krikorian, and his beloved pets Zoey and Jake. He was predeceased by his grandfathers; John Leonard and Michael Pizzuto, Sr.

We would like to thank everyone who visited, prayed, sent messages of hope and love to Nick and our family during this most difficult and heartbreaking time. We would also like to thank the medical staff at Hartford Hospital, as well as nursing, PCT and therapy staff at Gaylord Hospital for their compassion and care.

Mike and Janet, I want to express my deepest sympathy. I want to also thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your family. Whether it was a movie night, dinner at your house, going to concerts or a game and of course the countless car shows that Mike and I and the kids went to. I will always remember how much I enjoyed my conversations with Nick, sometimes interesting, other times hilarious.
As everyone should know,Nick had a good heart and a kind soul. The kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call their son. His absence from our lives is a terrible loss to all who knew him. I will miss him and I will always remember him.

Nick, You will forever be remembered as the as the shy, quiet younger brother of my son's best friend. The tears fall freely now when we think of you but there will come a day when the memories we share will be told with smiles on our faces and laughter in the air.
Forever in our hearts. <3
