Nicholas J. "Nick" Wagner

Wagner Nicholas ``Nick'' J., age 80, of Apple Valley, MN, on Jan. 25, 2002. Preceded in death by parents, Nicholas & Elizabeth Wagner. Survived by wife & friend of 55 years, Eileen A.; daughter, Barbara A. (Dennis) Factor; sons, Nick M. (Gina) and Gary N. (Nancy); 6 grandchildren, Angela & Joseph Factor; James (Katie), Jill & Jon Wagner; Kari Wagner; 1 great-grandchild, Ashley Wagner; brother, Richard of New Market; sisters-in-law, Jean Muelken of Richfield and Rita Wagner of St. Paul. Nick was a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps and a veteran of WWII in the South Pacific Theatre (New Guinea) from 1942-1945. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Burnsville, MN, American Legion, Apple Valley, MN, and the VFW, Prior Lake, MN. Nick loved all aspects of nature... flowers fair, the warmth of the sun, the kiss of the air, the birds that filled the sky with song, the lake in back of his home, which he loved dearly. His family and his home were his pride and joy. God called him home and he went to Him. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 11 am at Mary, Mother of the Church, 3333 Cliff Road (Cliff Rd & Cedar Ave) in Burnsville, MN. Visitation 4-8 pm Monday at the White Funeral Home (14560 Pennock Ave) and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at St. Mark's Catholic Cemetery in Shakopee, MN.
