Nick was born in Kansas City, MO on December 18, 1953 to Tony and Molly Civella. He lived his entire life in the Kansas City area. He worked various jobs, owning several businesses throughout his life including bars and rental properties. Nick was a devoted family man, who liked to do things his own way. He had a bigger than life personality that will be greatly missed by all those that loved him. His three kids Anthony, Zoe, and Frankie were his biggest accomplishment and greatest joy. He extended that love and pride to his nieces and nephews, many of whom will carry the nicknames he gifted them for the rest of their lives. In return they affectionately called him Uncle Bubbles.
Nick was preceded in death by his father, Tony Civella and his brother-in-law John Sansone.
Nick is survived by his mother, Molly Civella; his children Anthony Civella, Zoe Stephens, and Frankie Civella; siblings, Carl Civella, Fanny Sansone (Willie Cammisano), Vince Civella (Savara), Tony Civella Jr. (Amy Alaiwat); and his many nieces and nephews. Nick also leaves behind numerous cousins and close friends.

I met Nick in the golden "daze" of the River Quay.... always delightfully welcome and generous. He always made you feel welcome, whatever the day. He introduced me to his Father one evening, and it was easy to see where he got his demeanor. Rest Easy, Nick.... salude!
