Nick SPANO Obituary
On October 3, 2014, Nick Spano passed away at the age of 86 years.
Nick is survived by his loving wife, Carmela; children, Giuseppe, Mary (Doug), Lino (Bonnie), and Franca; and grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Breanne, and Nicolina.
The family wishes to thank CHOICE Dickinsfield Program for their special care and support.
Prayers Thursday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, 10985 - 124 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 0H9.

Dear Franca, Mrs. Spano and family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss and want to send you my deepest sympathies. I spent many days at your home in my teenaged years and have many fond memories of Mr. Spano. He always made me feel welcome at your home and I enjoyed spending time with you all. Sending hugs.

We are saddened to hear of Nick's passing. He has been a dear, close friend of the Margiotta family and his loss is keenly felt. Nick's support and assistance to Joe and Donna in the early years of settling in Edmonton will not be forgotten and his ongoing and unwavering friendship was always greatly appreciated.
