Suddenly on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Beloved father of Masai N. Mayhew; loving friend of Shawntia Sams; devoted son of Cynthia Dinkins-Mayhew; loving brother of Joseph Crockett and Gillie Mayhew; grandson of Janette Gibson and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father Joe L. Mayhew and brother, Michael A. James, Jr. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. at J.B. Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel, 7474 Landover Rd. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m.
