Mary Chuey

CHUEY, MARY M. (HAWKINS) 95, of Cranston, passed away September 14, 2011 at Philip Hulitar Home & Hospice Care of RI. She was the wife of the late Michael P. Chuey, Jr. Born in Providence a daughter of the late William F. and Mary E. (Hanley) Hawkins. Mrs. Chuey was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was a great cook. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by one son; Michael P. Chuey III and his wife Janice of Cranston, one daughter; Mary Mollica and her husband Gary also of Cranston; two grandchildren; Jeffrey Chuey and Brian Chuey and one great granddaughter; Caroline Chuey. She was predeceased by four brothers; Eugene, George, William and John Hawkins. Her funeral is Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
