Nils Vetra Obituary
Resident of Camarillo and Los Angeles, passed away March 05, 2007. Born in Riga, Latvia on March 22, 1944, and resided in Victoria, British Columbia, Chicago and California for the majority of his life.
Survived by his wife, Mabe Sparks Vetra, daughter, Ashley Sparks Cotillier, Charles, grandsons; Hunter and Preston Sparks Cotillier. Preceded in death by his father, Baron Von Mensenkampff, mother, Helga Vetra Peterson, M.D., his beloved stepfather, Lewis Vetra, M.D.
Spent forty-four years in the airline/airfreight industry with TWA, Emery and UPS.
Memorial Service: March 17 , 11:00 a.m., Brookside Country Club, Pasadena.

I was thnking about Nils today and decided to see if he was still residing in Camarillo. I was saddened to see he had passed. I worked for Nils for 7 years at Emery Worldwide and he was a great M.O.D. and a good man as well. He was brusque and determined, and funny most of the time, and I appreciated that in my Boss. God Bless him and keep him. R.I.P. Nils.
