It was 6 long years ago that God called you home. It has been a hard 6 years. It was 6 years and 2 days ago at 7:45pm that you stepped into the gates of heaven. I have one child I can thank you for because she is the only one that has kept her last promise to you as you lay there taking your last breath. That child is Shelley. My heart goes to my brother Ray and their children with all my love. Nina was always a blessing to my brother and I will always be thankful to her for this. I know she is in heaven with our parents and sister and have had their loving arms wrapped around her welcoming her to her new home in heaven. To Nina from your sister Viola with love.

I light this candle to symbolize the warmth that I have in my heart from our lasting relationship and the eternal love that we have for each other and a reminder of how you then and now light up my life and that I will see you again and we will be together forever.

It has been 5 months since God took you home to heaven to be one of his angels. I know you are in a better place with no sickness or pain or suffering. We all miss you and wish you were here, but we know that we will be with you again one day.
