On Thursday, March 11, 2004, beloved husband of Arlyn Gilboa; beloved father of Amit Gilboa, Noam (Deborah) Gilboa and Keren Gilboa; son of Shmuel and Mina Gilboa; brother of Rina (Itzhak) Fogler and Shlomo (Leora) Gilboa; grandfather of Ari Gilboa; also survived by nieces and nephews. Services in the Helfant Chapel of Congregation Beth Shalom, 5915 Beacon St. on Friday at 3 pm. Visitation 45 minutes prior to Service. (2:15-3:00 pm). Contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation, 919 North Michigan Ave., Suite 1100, Chicago, IL 60611, Jewish National Fund, 5915 Beacon St., Pgh., PA 15217 or The National Kidney Foundation, 555 Grant St., Pgh., PA 15219. I worked with Nisan at Children's and we shared the 'secret handshake' of speaking Hebrew and having trained in Israel. I couldn't pass him in the hallway without a "ma nishma". My memories are those of a good colleague, a good friend, a good man. Consolation to the family.

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Gilboa's family. I had the pleasure of working with him in pediatrics at Mercy Hospital. Such a kind and gentle man who will be missed.

Dear Gilboa Family
I am very sad to hear about Dr. Gilboa. I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Gilboa when he joined the Department of Pediatrics here at Mercy a few years back. I have fond memories of him. He was a great guy. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
