Noah Favaregh Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 30, 2013.
Noah Morteza Favaregh, age 31, died from injuries resulting from an airplane crash on Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born in Beaumont, Texas and was a resident of Hampton, Virginia.

High Flight

Oh, I have slipped the surly
bonds of earth.
And danced the skies on
laughter-silvered wings,
Sunward I've climbed and
joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds –
and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of –
wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence.
Hov'ring there, I've chased the
shouting wind along and flung
My eager craft through
footless halls of air.
Up, up the long delirious, burning blue
I've topped the windswept heights
with easy grace,
Where never lark, or even eagle, flew;
And, while with silent,
lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and
touched the face of God.

Dear Amber,
If there is anything we can do to ease your pain, even if for a minute, please reach out to us. We are here for you and your son, now and always. I think about you often. We are around the corner and our door is always open. I can't even imagine what you are going through. You have a family of friends who care and love you, more than you know. Noah is with me on every time I fly. He, and God are my co-pilots. Blessings to you and your beautiful son. Noah lives on in all of us.

Amber and family, I'm sorry for your loss....I often think of Noah and the great mix of inspiration he shared....it's not often that you find someone who is into surfing, fishing, travelling, flying yet understands that the true happiness in life is with family, and also has the intellect and professional drive to maintain his passion for his career. I always enjoyed talking to him about whatever subject came up. He is and will be missed.

Noah,
As a fellow pilot, I will fly for you now, and always. Now you have the wings of an angel, and I cry for the loss of you. I never got the chance to take you flying and to have you critique my flying and airmanship. You had extended yourself to me and I am so sorry, that I never got the chance to take you up on that. You are flying higher than I ever could, dear Noah.
Don't worry, your wife and son will be fine, but I know they will never get over the loss of you. You are and will always be loved, and missed.
God is with you and the ones you left behind here on earth. Rest in Paradise, Noah.

Amber, Naveed and Family,
Donnie and I are still in shock over Noah's passing. He was a very positive person and truly lived life to its fullest. You have a beautiful son and Noah will be his guardian angel. May you find comfort in knowing how much he was thought of. Let us know if there is anything we can do. With our deepest sympathy.

Noah and I became friends at the Langley AFB aero club. We then became partners in our own aircraft for a few years. I enjoyed many flights with him in our little Cessna. My thoughts and prayers to you Amber and Naveed.
The loss of Noah is the loss of a most wonderful person in this world.

Amber, I am so sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Noah very well, in the few times that we interacted either for work or a casual lunch, it was very clear what a great person he was and how much positive energy he injected into his surroundings. I was always very impressed with every aspect of his life and I know he will be missed by all that knew him. Please accept condolences from me and my family and we will surely keep you, Naveed, and the rest of your family in our prayers.

Amber - I never met you or your husband, but during a very strange flight back from Charlotte last night I met Libby. She had the most wonderful things to say about you and Noah. Additionally it remidned me of how incredibly small the world is (ask her about the NASA/Langley connection). I just felt it right to send a note of condolence and wish you and your child the very best in dealing with the tragic event. My prayers are with you and your family.
God Bless -

I was Noah's "Big Brother" starting when Noah was 12. Though I mentored him about a lot of things in life, Noah actually mentored ME, through his actions, about living that life to its fullest. If Noah wanted to do something (i.e. play ice hockey, learn how to build and fly model airplanes, learn a different language, learn how to play the guitar, learn how to ride a motorcycle, learn how to ski, learn how to surf, learn how to fly REAL airplanes, marry a wonderful girl, become a yoga instructor, start a beautiful family, etc., etc., etc.) then he did whatever it took to accomplish that task. How many of us can actually say we live our lives that way? Noah was not a spectator in life, he was a PARTICIPANT. And in that way, I feel like he experienced more in 31 years than most do in lives three times that duration. Knowing that, helps me to deal with this tragic loss. Good job, Little Bro, for a life well-lived. We love you and miss you. And my deepest sympathies, thoughts, and prayers go out to Amber, Naveed, Arlene, Emily, and all those who knew Noah the best.

Living every day with the energy of a man wanting to squeeze every ounce of love and excitement from life - always putting a smile on your face. Noah you will forever be missed by all but especially by your lovely wife and baby. You died too young having enjoyed life more than most. Thanks for your friendship. I will always remember the day we met - i owned a flight school and you were looking for an airplane to fly. I wanted your business real bad and you became a customer then a friend. Fly high young man.

Noah you're one of the most well rounded individuals I've ever came across in my life. I've learned so much from you over the years (cars, surfing, camping, investing, starting a business, flying, traveling, yoga, real estate...) the list goes on and on. I really admire the way you lived your life to the fullest. Even though you will not be here with us in person, your spirit will be with me forever. I am truly lucky to have you as a friend and collegue. Amber and Naveed, my heart is with you in this tragic ordeal.

Noah was a great pilot and even better man. Noah and I did pilot training together here in Texas and have nothing but fond memories of that time and of our friendship outside of the airport. I can close my eyes and see him smiling sitting in the left seat of the Cessna we trained in. It pains me that he is gone but he will live on in the fond impressions he left us with and through the reflection of his son Naveed. May peace be with Noah and may peace and strength be with Amber and Naveed.

From a blog posting by Noah: We can be constantly in motion, distracted, never really feeling into what is going on in our lives. At some point we stop and get the waterfall effect. Then we need the next part of practicing which is the letting go. Letting go of the past, letting go of the worrying of the future. Letting go can be the most difficult part. Practice builds our confidence, stability, naturally releasing hormones that make us feel better afterward. This all can help to move on and let go, to be present and enjoy this moment of breath. Forgive everyone for everything. Let go and enjoy each moment because you never get those moments back. But once they are gone, let them go. Peace and Love

Peace and Love back at you, Noah, Amber, sweet Naveed

During Shavasana last Friday, Noah encouraged us to imagine that we held a flame in our hearts that glowed brighter as we breathed deeply. This flame was capable of removing pain in someone else and that the deeper we relaxed and breathed the greater help we could be to someone else. I truly wish that I could take Amber and the Favaregh family's pain away.
