NOE SALINAS

NOE SALINAS EDINBURG - Noe Salinas, age 51, of Edinburg, Texas passed away the afternoon of July 23, 2015 after a courageous battle against cancer. He was surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born on December 27, 1963 in Edinburg, Texas to the late Cristobal and Esperanza Salinas. Noe was a long standing member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church being rich in his faith and strong in his beliefs. He had a great sense of humor and beautiful, energetic soul. He enjoyed sharing life experiences and humorous everyday events. Noe especially loved fishing, cooking and watching his Dallas Cowboys with his family and friends. Many will miss his sense of humor and heartfelt conversations. Mr. Salinas proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps retiring after 4 years at the rank of LCpl. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Cristobal Salinas Jr. and Antonio (Tony) Salinas. He is survived by wife, Manuela Navarete, her daughter Andrea Navarrete, his son whom he adored, Kross [Zachariah] Salinas, brothers, Oscar Salinas, Manuel (Marissa) Salinas, and Israel Salinas. His sisters, Noelia (Guadalupe) Carranza, Norma (Tomas) Dominguez, San Juanita (Gilbert) Leal along with numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to our nephew Tony Salinas Jr. and family, the office of Congressman Ruben "Chuy" Hinojosa, family and friends for all your help and support. Viewing will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Vaughan Watson Funeral Home. Mass will be held Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with military honors.
