Noel was not only a classmate in Ladysmith, we had a deeply caring relationship and future plans. Following his time in the service and my college years our lives took different pathways but we continued to keep in touch. Occasionally we shared time while at reunions that brought us back to 'home' and classmates. One of my joys was receiving annual birthday cards in September from Noel, over the many years of our friendship. I have often thought of the many memories of our past, among those of us who graduated together and how important these bonds among us have become. We grew up simply, were so innocent, so content and cared honestly and deeply for one another. I am grateful that Noel was my friend, and a beautifully caring friend whom I shall truly miss.

What a beautiful testimony to your dad's life-his family. I think about my mom, Rita Bragg, quite often, and she still puts a smile on my face. I know you will have those smiles, too, for your dad for years to come. Aunt Barbara, I will keep you and the cousins in prayer. May God bless Uncle Noel and his very loving family.
