As a childhood friend of Carrie's I feel like I lost a loved one. Nona was a loving mother and welcoming presence to all that entered her home. Though we will miss you here on earth I celebrate knowing you now reside with our Lord and Savior.

Nona, our sister-in-law, loved by all in the family and she loved all of us also. Her humor and joyful manner was always a delight. A devoted Christian. She will be missed.

Nona was a special lady with a gift of hospitality. She cherished her family and friends and always spoke lovingly about them. She shared her Christian faith with a sincere heart. We will miss the weekly telephone chats where we shared our praises and prayer requests. Our memories of our times together will be treasured.
