I was so sorry to hear of Mae's passing. She and I talked every time we met. She was always very nice to me.
She was a sweet woman and we always had nice talks when we saw each other.
I used to patrol her neighborhood and she would sit in her garage and when I
came by I would hit her with the spotlight. She would give me the
Dickens the next time we talked and then laugh. I'm sure her spirit is at rest now. I wish
all of you well and I'm sorry I couldn't make the funeral.

My sympathy to Mae's family. I live on Orchad Lane, just two streets over from Mae. I feel so sad that I can no longer stop and have conversations with her. I was just there for an hour a couple of nights before she died. I have several plants that she gave me and I purchased some cat salt/pepper shakers from her. We both loved gardening and flowers. Her lawn was beautiful. Her house was immaculate. Who will take care of the dog (that I love)? How glad I am that I have a great picture of Mae standing beside a vining morning glories. God's blessings for Mae and her survivors.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I unfortunately will be unable to attend the visitation due to my working hours but all of you will be in my thoughts. Your dad was my bus driver for many years & they were my neighbors for many years, and I occasionally would see them after they moved to Napoleon. Her salt & pepper shakers will miss her!! God bless all of your family, Norma Wheeler Weis
