Norbert LORENZ Obituary
June 7, 1930 - August 9, 2013
Norbert Lorenz passed away peacefully on August 9, 2013 at the age of 83 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Velna; two sons: Neil and Ron (Jade) Lorenz, four daughters: Wanda (Mike) Mulloy, Judy Stollery, Holly (Ian) Driscall, Lori (Geoff) Dyer; ten grandchildren: Jodi (Justin) Cobain, Erica Mulloy, Brett Mulloy, Claire Stollery, Sarah Stollery, Hannah Stollery, Charles Dyer, Alice Dyer, Lisa Lorenz and Esmee Driscall; two great-grandchildren: Ella and Violet Cobain. He is also survived by his brother, Alex (Lorraine) Lorenz and his sister, Clare (Henry) Vaugeois, and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Rose and Leo, son-in-law Gordon Stollery and niece Lynn Vaugeois.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Norm's name to Carewest Sarcee Hospice (3504 Sarcee Road SW, Calgary, AB T3E 2L3). Visitation and Prayers will be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Drive SE, Calgary) on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. To express condolences please visit www.mountainviewmemorial.ca.
