Noreta Graham Obituary
Born on May 22, 1935, in Charleston, West Virginia, Noreta brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her long and vibrant life. Her journey took her from the hills of West Virginia to Southern California, where she built a life rooted in kindness, hospitality, and deep community involvement.
Noreta was a devoted member of Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church, where she worshiped faithfully and served as an elder. Her commitment to her faith and church community was a guiding force in her life and a source of strength for those who knew her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Steven Graham of El Cajon; her granddaughter Cassidy (Brandon) Kennedy of San Diego; her grandson Steven "Quinn" Graham of San Diego; her grandson Ryan Graham of El Cajon and her great grandson Maverick Kennedy of San Diego. Noreta was preceded in death by her husband James (Jim) Graham, son Alan Graham, grandsons Connor Graham, and Cole Graham.
Known for her generous spirit and warm heart, Noreta had a gift for making others feel welcome. She was a fantastic cook who delighted in hosting gatherings that brought people together over delicious meals and laughter. Her home was often filled with the sounds of music-especially Neil Diamond-and she never missed an opportunity to dance along with joy.
Noreta also had a special place in her heart for animals and shared many happy years with beloved dogs who were cherished members of the family.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Graveside Service will be held on September 8, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 01:00 PM at Singing Hills Memorial Park 2800 Dehesa Road El Cajon
