NORMAN BONDER Obituary
Age 86, on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Beloved husband of Ethel for 58 years; loving father of Francine (Sam) Glass, Ellen (Lee) Jackson, and Kara (Marvin) Spodek; grandfather of Cory, Leah, and Stacee Glass, Lindsey and Madison Jackson, Maura, Kayla, Zachary, and Zoe Spodek; brother of the late Seth Bonder. Norman was a graduate of New York University and owned several auto parts stores. Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in Beth Jacob Cemetery, New Kensington. Contributions can be made to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Voluntary Service (118V-A), 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215 or the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011. Arrangements entrusted to RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC.

I note, sadly, that my old friend Norman Bonder had passed away in 2014. I'd just like to say that we were in the Rapid Advance class in Jr.H.S.40 and also attended NYU at the same time.
Norman was a wonderful, cheerful fellow who was always helpful and a pleasure to be with. He was very bright and above all a friend I was always happy to see.
I'd like to say that he must have been a super Dad and Grandfather because he could not have been otherwise. I only wish I had the opportunity to have spent more time with him but his move to PA after his marriage to Ethyl made it impractical for me. I liked Norman a lot. May he repose peacefully.
