GREENSBORO — Mr. Norman Gaither Doggett II, affectionally known as "Brother", formally of Greensboro, NC, died at his home in San Pablo, Ca.
Norman was the son of Norman G. Doggett, Sr. (deceased) and mother Nannie K. Doggett-Bridges of Greensboro, NC.
The funeral will be Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Thompson Funeral Home 9900 International Blvd Oakland, Ca 94603. Interment will be Thursday March 18, 2010 in Sacramento Valley National V.A. Cemetery Sacramento, Ca.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Left to cherrish his memory are his wife, Renee Morris formally of Greensboro, NC, one son, Khalif Muhammad (Carma); one grand-son, Yohance; one grand-daughter, Aset; mother, Nannie Doggett-Bridges; two sisters, Mary D. Lane (Louis) of Greensboro, NC, Dr. Sherrill D. Gaye of Alexandria,Va; and a host of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Condolences may be sent to Thompson Funeral Home.
