of friends,
and family especially,
the love of our God
or
perhaps some words of comfort
these may bring
though, truly,
loss of a loved one whom we hold dear
the pain in our hearts ceases nev'r
that cruel paradox, the pain from loss and the memories of a loved one dear,
could it be that it is
those memories in which we find
some strength, some comfort, some peace of mind
l'chaim - your life, Norman, your legacy!

Doug, I am saddened to learn of your father's passing. He (and you) were always kind and generous to me, especially when I first opened my law office. I hope you are well.
