Norman was the best! We were honored to be associated with him and the family back in the 60's at the Stamford (CT) Church. It was wonderful to be your neighbor in Stamford -- just two doors down. We still laugh at the tale of my mother on one of her visits, coming over to your house while we (four batchelors) were at work and borrowing a pan to cook something. Apparently, we shopped for her visit but nothing to cook it in. Gay, I think you fed her breakfast.

Knowing your loved one is in a place where there is no more pain, no stress, and no worries is a comfort. But, this doesn't take away the "missing them" part. Rely on God, friends and family to help you through the weeks ahead as you adjust to a different life. Christian loved ones who have passed from this life have only peace and love surrounding them. We can be happy for them. Just know that hundreds of people are praying for your strength and comfort. Life will never be the same but we aren't living for this life, we are living for the life hereafter and that's where there will be a great reunion!

In Christian Love,

Let Me Go
When I have come to the end of life’s road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little ~ but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared.
Miss me ~ but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the Master plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me ~ but let me go.
