Chrisie What a legacy your grandfather left. He was loved and respected by all who connected with him. His teachings will be passed on. What a tribute to this wonderful man. OPal-Principal-Stein Valley Nlakapamux School.

A wonderful teacher! My sentiments despite the fact that I am sure I often gave him a hard time about learning all those grammar rules. As I got older and a little more mature, I came to understand how he was trying to help us understand the beauty of the English language. For this I will forever be grateful.

Norm Sherritt was an excellent teacher. He taught me English for four years and gave me a grounding that stood me well in my later career. I was glad to be able to tell him that and thank him for it at our reunions. He always remembered me, even 50 years after I was his student. A great man, a great leader, a great example to us all.

I attended Langley Secondary, then worked as a secretary in the office. Mr. Sherritt was vice-principal at the time. He was well-liked by both students and staff. I will always have good memories of working under him. My sincerest sympathy to family members for their great loss.

I began my teaching career in 1963 at Langley Secondary. Norm was so supportive and encouraging. He was without a doubt the best administrator in my entire teaching career.

From September 1949 to June 1955 at Langley Jr-Sr High School (LSS) Mr Sherritt did his best to impart to us the beauty and strange middle English verbiage of Shakespeare. His legacy to me is a love of literature and the English Language. I have always addressed you as Mr Sherritt but I take the liberty of saying - Rest In Peace "Norm" My never-to-be-forgotten educator.
