HEY BROTHER. I was just kicking back having a beer, thinking about all the good times we had in our younger years. I wish we could have stayed that close forever. I sure miss them. It's a shame that you worked hard all your life, and didn't get to collect one SSI check. I'm pretty sure you allready had a talk with the man in charge up there about that. Give Dad a hug for me. We miss you. Your brother-in-law Tom Boland

Uncle Norm, Some of my earliest memories were of you, my Dad and I fishing for salmon on the Duwamish, freezing our butts off steelheading, motor mooching off of Alki or opening day for trout on Mineral Lake.

I'll always remember how you'd clear the water of any boats in the area (in your own special way) when I had a King on.

You may not have known it, but I was always listening and learning when you and Dad would swap stories about growing up the way you did. I used that experience to help me on my way in life and I thank you for it.

So I hope you're up there where the living is easy and the salmon are always running. When it's my time we'll get together and I'll land your first fish for you. I owe you one.

Norman,

You were a unique man who traveled his own road and lived his life and who could truly say, "I did it my way." The memories you left your family as they take this bitter-sweet journey of memories of your lives together and share with all of us in your extended family is happy and sad. 40 years, a lot of memories, you will be missed.
