At this moment in time Brother Norvels teaching is more relevant than ever. Rediscovering him this year is such a great blessing. Have known him since the early eighties and have been so blessed to have known him personally. Sweet spirit is an understatement. Strong, powerful effective anointing is an understatement too. His ministry goes on by utube. Thank you Jesus for what you showed through his life ♥✝

He was one of the ministers that God used to not only cut my spiritual teeth with his teaching, but also have applied his teaching in my ministry today. I have seen him minister a few times, but mostly through his books and recordings he imparted his wisdom from above. I look forward to seeing him in heaven.

Oh my God. I have learned so much from this mighty general of the gospel. Non other like him. His teachings have helped me in so many ways and deliverances. No one has touched my spirit like him. Bro. Norvel Hayes was a teacher of the Word and many times we would go hear him preach. My husband and I learned a lot through Bro. Hayes ministry - We were newly baptized in the Holy Ghost and needed good teaching. And he taught us knowing we had been born -again decades prior - however (through his teaching) we better understood - how the Holy Spirit is a real person resides in us - and through His power and love, and wisdom, we can hear His voice within our heart - and we have never been the same ! amen. Thank you Bro. Norvel I know you and your precious daughter are together in heaven. Amen.

He did a lot of good work. His bible school was basically free at one time. The Lord sat down in the services in Gatlinburg in the early 80's. The visions revealed there have all yet to be fulfilled. Those meetings energized my life life like nothing I had ever experienced to that point. I wept like a baby when the last service was in progress. I guess I owe him some respect. I met some fabulous people and those visions and angels-the Lord himself, have never been forgotten by me. A person should look forward in life but when a huge depository of life itself is laid out before you then you have a well to continually draw from. That fabulous well is still producing decades down the road. I still have a few visions yet to be fulfilled. May the Lord continually bless the work that he begun in brother Norvel Hayes.

I'm 70 years old and can still remember like it was yesterday when in the early 70's norvel came to our little church in Greensburg pa and taught us what faith really was. I still have his tapes i bought then,one which was called speak the word only. I feel so sad and at the same time so happy I knew him and learned ever so much from him. Heaven is as brighter place now.

I started going to Norvels meetings in the mid-80s and have loved his heart, humor, mind and ministry for all these years. He has changed my life and I am so saddened by his death but rejoice with him that he is finally home. Another one of the greats has moved on.

Never got to meet you in person but you were one of the professors at my seminary, International Miracle Institute. I pass through Cleveland, TN very often on my way home to east Ky. I always think of you Dr. Hayes when I pass through this area, you are on of my heros and inspirations especially since we have similar Church journeys in life. You will never know how your books and teaching have helped me and blessed me. As you graduate and transition into your new address, Heaven, I have been reading your book, Divine Healing. My favorite book is on Visions. You have blessed me Dr. Norvel, I love you so much as a mentor that I never met here on earth, but will in heaven. May your family be blessed with the comforting presence of Jesus, may His presence magnify on the family during this season. May the sweet aroma of the Holy Spirit flood your homes as you smell new wine and fresh flowers released from the anointing aroma. God bless you all. I first met Pastor Norvel at Camp Meeting at Jesus People Ministries in Miami. He made the scriptures come alive! Joshua 1:8, Deut. 8:18 he always challenged us to believe the God and His Word and starve our doubts. I'm so thankful for our Bishop Isaiah Williams bringing him to our church to minister the Word of Life to us! Take your rest Pastor Hayes, your work still speaks for you!

I grew up spiritually on Norval Hayes teaching tapes. We even drove from Pennsylvania to Cleveland to attend The Miracle Seminar and WOW God did amazing things on our trip down and back. I adored and highly respected Dr. Hayes. He bless my soul over and over through out the years. I still have a nice collection of his tapes and teachings. God's Speed to you Brother so Now go swimming with Jesus as you use to say that Jesus went swimming with the little children and he would dunk them.

Norvel Hayes was a great & glorious gift to the body of Christ! I was saved in March 1983 and listened to many sermons from Norvel Hayes! We graduated from Norvels school in 1980 .Melvin, Barbara Wood, two children Charlotte who later came back from Texas and become a graduate and Shane who later attended Christ for the Nations in Dallas, this is where our ministry started.
We will never forget our foundation nor the wonderful way the Lord moved in those meetings.

When I get to heaven I'm going to get a front-row seat to hear him teach after I greet and hug father God Jesus and the Holy Spirit I'll never forget his stories about his daughter doing the funky chicken and getting delivered from gross and how it got delivered from smoking and his body was telling him give me a call Mal and he said no you can't have a Pall Mall and his body said then give me a Raleigh. Brother Norvel was the most powerful influence in my 40+ Christian walk. His book How to Livr and Not Die was directly responsible for my daughter being raised from the dead after drowning in by pool behind my home in Florida in 1994. I was privileged to speak with him several times when he came to Words of Life in Miami. I continue to listen to his teachings which inspire me to this day! Im sure heaven rejoiced at his homecoming!

My first contact with Norvel Hayes was from a book, "Insights from Men of Faith" by Pastor Philip Wagner in late 80's/early90's. It was basically series of interview of some of God's outstanding generals in the World of Faith; namely, TL Osborn, Lester Sumrall, Charles Capps, John Osteen, Kenneth Hagin, Norvel Hayes, and Kenneth Copeland. Needless to say, I have treasured the nuggets and insights that these servants of God provided in the book over time.
However, I have looked on wistfully over the years as these saints of God translate to glory, one after the other, Norvel Hayes now joining them. His books, like 'How to live and not die' etc have been a blessing as well as his messages. While I am sad he's no longer physically with us, I rejoice he has gone to His reward in heaven.
