Nunzio Norman Sorce

Nunzio Norman Sorce, lovingly known as Norm, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, at the age of 92. Born in Wisconsin in January 1933, then moved to Pacifica CA, as a young man with his wife, where they raised their children. Norm lived a long and full life centered on family, hard work, and the simple joys he loved most. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Joyce; his children, Tony (Renee), Darren, Sandra (Mike). Norm was a grandpa to a beautiful granddaughter, Samara.

He was a veteran of the Army, followed by his career in the technology field for various companies in the Bay Area, including Pan Am Airlines, Ampex, Orrox.

Norm was an avid sportsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet shooting with friends. His other interests included: bonsai, Tai Chi, painting, and politics. He was always quite funny and quick with a smile, and told the same 'dad' jokes to everyone he met.

His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. A celebration of Norm's life will be held on September 23, at the Chapel by the Sea in Pacifica, CA. His family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring his memory.
