O'Bryan Brandy

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - O'Bryan Lashan Brandy, 29, died Oct. 29, 2011, in Tallahassee. Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at Noxubee County High School Gymnasium with the Rev. Jack Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Oddsfellow Cemetery in Macon. Visitation is today noon to 6 p.m. at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home Chapel in Macon. Mr. Brandy was born Sept. 18, 1982, to Laura Ann Brandy and Jerome Hairston Sr. He was a 2002 graduate of Noxubee High School. He attended East Mississippi Community College and Florida A&M on football scholarships. He was employed as a cab driver with Yellow Cab Company in Tallahassee. Survivors include his wife, Chimere Brandy of Tallahassee; children, Aaliyah Brandy of Macon, O'Bryan Brandy and O'Breana Brandy, both of Tallahassee; sisters, Erica Brandy and Sierra Brandy, both of Macon, Monica Hairston, Keanna Hairston, Shante' Hairston, Audrianna Ives, and Brittany Ives, all of Pawtuck, R.I., and Knitra Stevenson of Columbus; brothers, Gerell Hairston and Jeron Barrett, both of Pawtuck, and Jeremy Weaver of Starkville. Pallbearers are Antwan Cooper, Courtney Matthews, Omarr Conner, Randy Brewer, Marcus Brandy and Tavoris Slaughter.
