Dean Reeves Obituary

Dean Reeves, 83 years of age, passed away April 14th at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Centralia, WA. Dean was born to Orria and Hazel Reeves on Oct. 20, 1924 in Palo Alto, CA.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division.
In later years he moved to Taholah, WA where he worked for the Quinault Tribe and managed the seafood business for many years. He also managed a seafood plantation in Yakut, AK for Ocean Beauty. Dean also was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife Barbara at the family home in Rochester; his brother Don Reeves of San Jose, CA; a daughter Peggy Reeves of Ocean Shores; son Dean Reeves, Jr. of Taholah and Bob Reeves of Meridan, ID and daughter Dianne Angel of Tahoe City, CA; three step children Don Gay of St. Croix U.S.V.I.; Larry Gay of Everett and Kathy Gay of Rochester, WA. Also he had several grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
At the request of Dean Reeves, there will be no service. Cremation arrangements are with Brown's Mortuary of Chehalis, WA.
Remembrances can be made to the Rochester Fire Department or the Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Centralia, WA.
