Albert Daniel Sauls

Albert Daniel Sauls, 86, of Jennings, Florida, passed away early Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, Florida. Mr. Sauls was born in Echols County to the late Willie and Jennie Brantley Sauls. He owned and operated Sauls Grocery and Dry Goods Store in Jennings, for many years. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Air Force and was a founding member of Jennings Assembly of God Church. Mr. Sauls was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Mrs. Fannie O'Neal Sauls in May of 2004. Survivors include two sons: Ted Sauls (Juanita) of Clyattville, Georgia, and Ronnie Sauls (Debbie) of Lake Park, Georgia; two daughters, Yvonne Sullivan (Kenneth) of Mayo, Florida, and Debra Pollock (Eugene) of Valdosta, Georgia; one brother, Zollie Sauls (Elizabeth) of Largo, Florida; one sister, Myrtle Mae McDonald of Valdosta; seven grandchildren: Travis Sullivan, Claudia Green (Corey), Ted Sauls Jr. (Jenny), Tonya Hanselman (Richard), Kris Sauls, Danny Pollock (Jennifer) and Tina Sauls; eight great-grandchildren: Seth Law, Macy Hanselman, Kent Hanselman, Nathan Hanselman, Chloe Green, Caleb Pollock, Makayla Sauls and Aden Sauls. Also surviving is close friend, JL Wynn, and special caregivers.Funeral services were held Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Jennings Assembly of God Church with Reverend Ralph Blackmon, Reverend Kenneth Sullivan and Reverend Ted Sauls officiating.
