Maxine Landry Wentworth passed away on Monday, February 16, 2009.  Beloved wife of the late Jack Wentworth.  Daughter of the late Dr. Louis Elie Landry, Sr. and Madeline Miller Landry.  Mother of Patricia Demarest of Gretna, LA and Steve Wentworth, Sr. of Humble, Texas.  Grandmother of Joseph Demarest, Zac Wentworth, Derek Wentworth, Stephanie Wentworth, Steve Wentworth, Jr. and the late Clay Demarest.  Survived by 5 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.  Age 94 years. Born in Sunset, LA and resided in Terrytown, LA for the past 30 years.  Maxine was a member of Welcome Neighbors and a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church in Gretna, LA. Funeral Services and Interment were privately handled by MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 504.366.4343.

What a wonderful blessing is a good Mother. I did not get to met her until she was an older Lady, but she was just that, beautiful, always together and very much a Lady. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
