July 29, 1939 - March 2, 2010
LAFD for 35 years. Captain II, Retired. Died after a short but brave battle against leukemia. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Master cribbage player and ice cream maker. Survived by loving wife Judith; daughters Kymberly & Tracy (Jason); granddaughters Sophie & Clara; sister Delois (Robert); brother Loy Max (Madeline); and stepmother Amy.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills on Monday, March 8 at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Widows, Orphans, & Disabled Firemen's Fund.

We just learned of this and are saddened by the loss of Chris.

Yes, he was that CRIBBAGE PLAYER as he and I would play every shift..We were also class mates.
