OKEECHOBEE - Brian P. Frost, age 40, died Tuesday, September 28, at his home. He was a lifetime resident of Okeechobee. Being a member of the Church of God, Brian enjoyed working to help improve the church view. He cherished being with the people he loved and working on family genealogy. Decorating for the holidays was a favorite time for him. Brian was a member of the Class of 1988 and a member of the chorus at Okeechobee High School. His fathers, David Frost and Robert Hicks, preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Jessie Nell Frost of Okeechobee; brothers, Mark (Carrie) Frost of Irving, Tex., Scott (Linda) Frost of Rockledge, Fla., Craig (Ashley) Frost and Kevin (Lucinda) Frost, both of Lake Worth, Fla.; a sister, Michele (Lewis Going) of Okeechobee; step-mother, Laura (Nat) Smith of Lake Worth, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 3, from 2 p.m. until service time of 3 p.m. at the Okeechobee Church of God. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. All arrangements are under the care and direction of Matthew and Paul Buxton of Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 4550 Hwy. 441 N., Okeechobee, FL, 863-357-7283.
