Lee, you are and always will be my good friend. I will never turkey hunt again without hearing you laugh as I missed that big Tom that was only a few feet away.

I hope you are with your mom, as you said you always wanted to be.

We had many conversations about life, death and what awaits us. I look forward to seeing you again.

I was sorry to learn of Lee's passing. I've only known him for the last several years but truly enjoyed our conversations and appreciated his quirky sense of humor.

He was always willing to lend a helping hand to me as I worked my ground. He had much larger farming equipment and helped me get a couple of areas worked up for planting the first time. I couldn't have done it without him and he even did some work without my ever asking. I was very happy to pick rocks for him in a field next to mine, an old school trade!

Anyway, I'm sure my life is all the better for having known him. I love the values that his generation held and wish there were more of that around today!
