David THOMSON

THOMSON _ David (Dave) Charles Beloved husband, brother and friend. Born January 6, 1952, died peacefully in Nanaimo after a courageous battle with cancer August 7, 2003. Dave was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Eva and brothers Richard and Brian. He is lovingly remembered, respected and greatly missed by wife Deborah and her family; sisters Jeannette and Diane, brothers Walter and Jim, nieces and nephews and many good golfing and boating friends and co-workers. Dave was employed at BC Hydro for 32 years working in meter reading, collections, vehicle services, properties and most recently as manager of community relations for Vancouver Island. He was a member of the Nanaimo Golf Club, Nanaimo Yacht Club and Gyro Club of Nanaimo. An avid Canucks fan, he will be remembered for his quick wit and love of golf, boating, travel and laughter. Special thanks to the staff at Nanaimo Cancer Clinic and the staff at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital emergency and palliative care departments for their compassionate and gentle care.
