ANDOVER, Ohio - Virginia A. Weatherley, formerly of North Seventh Street and Aspen Towers, Olean, N.Y., passed away Wednesday (Nov. 12, 2014) in University Hospital of Cleveland following a long illness.

Virginia was born May 8, 1952, in Olean, and was a daughter of Leslie and Nina Wilbur Weatherley.

She graduated from Olean High School in 1970. Virginia was a hard worker and worked at several places in Olean, including McGraw Edison, Community Bank and St. Bonaventure University. She worked in the The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center kitchen in the late 1980s before going to work at Fred's Contract Cleaners.

Virginia was an excellent artist and enjoyed doing crafts, and she loved to crochet. While her mother was alive, Virginia was a very loving and caring caretaker for her.

Virginia is survived by three sisters, Pearl Brown of Olean, Dorothy (Ben) Gurerin of Bath and Gerry Blade of Salamanca; three brothers, Robert Weatherley of Humphrey, Karl Weatherley of Cuba and Paul (Joyce) Weatherley of Texas; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Virginia was predeceased by a sister, Martha Hollamby; four brothers, Lavern, Raymond, Daniel and Gerald Weatherley; and an infant brother.

Friends will be received Saturday (Nov. 22, 2014) at Olean Revival Center, 13th and Washington streets, Olean, from noon to 1 p.m., at which time a memorial service will be held. The Rev. Ronald Fraiser, pastor, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Olean Revival Center, 13th and Washington Street, Olean, NY 14760. Online condolences may be made at www.LetroMcIntoshSpinkFuneralHome.com.
