Corinne Rubenfeld Obituary

Corinne Rubenfeld (née Klein) of Scottsdale, Ariz., and formerly of Cranbury, N.J., Fairless Hills, Pa., and Scranton, Pa., died peacefully at home on August 10, 2015 at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Samuel Rubenfeld, who died in 1974.

Born and raised in Scranton, daughter of the late Samuel and Fannie Moskovitz Klein, Corinne had most recently been employed as a business manager for the American Cancer Society prior to her retirement. She was active in the Jewish community as a member of the Brandeis University National Women's Committee and Hadassah.

Corinne is survived by her daughter, Fae L. Rubenfeld of Phoenix; son, Gordon D. Rubenfeld and daughter-in-law, Sarena D. Seifer of Toronto; sister, Sandra Alman and brother-in-law, Robert Alman of Augusta, Ga.; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Private graveside services were held in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi Benny Rapoport. There is no local shiva.

The family asks that any memorial donations be made to Duet, a non-profit, interfaith organization that has been serving older adults since 1981 (http://duetaz.org/) or Hospice of the Valley (https://www.hov.org/).
